If you’re ready to learn, take a hard look at your own heart, and actively seek transformation and change, we’d love to have you for this conversation on the book White Fragility and action steps we can all take! Together we’ll process what we’re learning and work to be better allies. Our discussion will take place Sunday, July 19 at 3 pm and will focus on rooting out racism in our own minds and hearts and practical ways we can be anti-racist allies for people of color.
To join us for this gathering, you must:
1. Finish reading the book White Fragility by Robin Diangelo by July 19. (Learn how to buy your book below.)
2. Actively consider how the themes and issues presented in the book are present in your life, with a willingness to confront them in your heart and mind.
3. Be prepared for an open, honest conversation about how we can continue to do the work to become allies for people of color.
